Our Mission Statement — The Club’s “purpose shall be to support the tenets of the Democratic Party. The primary goal shall be to educate the voters through the use of open forums and preparation and distribution of information.”

 A little bit of Club history — 60 years ago, in 1948, Lyndon Baines Johnson announced his US Senate candidacy at the oldest local Democrats club in Texas, then known as the Democracy Club, now known as the Galveston County Democrats Club. That's us!
The Galveston County Democrats Club meets the first  Wednesday of every month.  Executive Committee meets at 6:15 PM. General Meeting begins at 7:00 PM. Location alternates between Boilermakers Union Hall #132, 2930 Gulf Freeway, La Marque (Jan-Mar-May-July-Sept-Nov), and the Senior Citizens Center, 2201 Avenue L, Galveston (Feb-April-June-Aug-Oct-Dec).
